Started off by hauling a load to Cavendish Farms for processing then cut across country to a seed grower to pick up a load of seed potatoes. I think they said the variety is Ivory? Seed potatoes are really small compared to processing. They?re usually dug about a month earlier than processing ones are. Has about 11 hours behind the wheel out on dry roads under bright sunny skies. Lots of traffic the last few days. Other than social distancing spending a week trucking almost felt like life is somewhat normal again. If I?m not back to electrical work in the next few weeks they said any trucking they have I can keep going. I talked to the electrical contractor a week ago and they?re hoping to be busy enough to have me back in a week from now but to be honest I?ll be very surprised if things are any busier than they are now. All construction is put on hold , not a lot going on. I still have enough to keep me busy at home the next while too so I won?t be sitting around. We?re on the last leg finishing up the college courses, it?s a shame we couldn?t have gotten a few more weeks in as we had some PLC labs to do and HVAC circuitry. We?re still learning the theory and principles but reading about how to do something and practicing how to do it are not the same but it unfortunately is what it is. Hope everyone?s keeping well ,it?s encouraging to read about Jon?s Mrs. recovering.
