Lockdown day 9

Wife appears to be all better now. So no more updates on that. No symptoms for me yet, that looks good too.

Got the rest of the green parts done yesterday except the shields that need welding. What a job that turned out to be. I never knew there were so many parts on a simple manure spreader. And cleaning decades for rust and greasy dirt off takes forever.

All that's left now are the parts that need welding and repair. That will be today's project. Dug this old header out of the junk pile to cut steel off from. Figured the auger would be close for one of the shield repairs.

Should work ok. Got an old bulk tank I cut apart to get out of the barn that has some shapes that should work in other places and will cut strips to fix the bottom of the sides that are rotted for about 3". That will be the job for today. More than a little glad to see the end of this project.

The good news, or bad depending on how I feel about work, is I just got a call from my boss and I'm approved to go back to work on Monday. A few projects left to do over the weekend yet if I get enough time.
