1948 New Holland tractor?

Hi.
Thankyou for letting me in. This is my first post.
Some years a go i searced the county arcive for a serial number for my farmall m. (Im born and live in sweden).

Now i checked my material and found something strange and unggooglabel: a 1948 year New Holland tractor.
Data:
serial number: F162- 69976
Drawbar 30hp and pulley 28hp.
Single front wheel.
318 centimeter long.
184 centimeter wide.
1560 metric kilo.
7.5x16" frontwheel
10"x38 rear wheels
Kerosene engine.

If i google, there is no New Holland tractors until Fiat got involved in Ford.
So what have i found?
Is it some rebranding?
Does serial numbers match something from another maker?
The action of registrating tractors did not start untill 1952 here so the data can be unsure due to owners willing.

Any suggestions?

Br Bengt Erik

There appears to be no indication of tractor production prior to Ford New Holland in 1986 as you
indicated.
Are your material and numbers connected with the Farmall M you own, or something else? Was there a
New Holland equipment dealer in Sweden, if so maybe they sold the tractor and the brand got switched
on paper work? Jim
some history

Someone in the yard (good at tractors, but
not computers) sold a tractor and entered
the sale into database. Next day office
gal(good at computers, not at tractors)
came in and approved the data. So it got
loaded to interweb.

Thanks. No, it has nothing to do with my Farmall. It was just another card in the county service council's tractor register that i searched for a couple a years ago. But did stumble over and consider it moore this time.

I'm not sure if New Holland had any export to Sweden att the -40-50s..
I'l try to find that out..

Is thera any cataloge or something from New Holland ~1948 to see if they had som implements that would have fitted the swedish farming style at that time?

The serial number, could be the Engine Number for a Continental Engine, F162 is a flathead 4 Cylinder engine. It was used in several brands of tractors, in that era. The tire size, and single front wheel were also common in that era.

I believe ?verum, Sweden built ploughs for New Holland, wikipedia has some information.
Massey Harris 30 for one used the Continental F162 engine . Length ,width , and weight are close.

Intrerresting.. I must check.. Is it wiki: overum or NH you found tha connection?
The funny thing in tis is several.. Im grown up 9km from that plough factory. And CNH boght it some years ago. So they ar back together, Overum and New Holland..

That continental engine i think i just heard of in a swedish macine forum. It was in a Massey Harris 102jr with a pierce givernor.

Bengt Erik, I can't find the connection to Overum again. I think I was searching history of New Holland , Massey Harris , Massey Ferguson. When I did find the Wikipedia article it was in Swedish and talked about the factory in Overum.
I believe 101 Jr,102 Jr, MH 30 and also used in many other things from Cars, trucks, welders, power units etc. If I find the link to Overum I will post the link.

Okay. Can it be that Overum made Ferguson labeled plows for TE20 and FE35?

So. I think it is a blind end.
I just found that the owner noted on the card passed away about a month ago.. Isn't it Ironic?

Br Bengt Erik.
