manual gearing, no hydro, shifting back and forth doing a job from reverse to forward and back to reverse when suddenly refused to move in any direction. starts, runs , rolls with clutch in but when I let clutch out it bogs engine bad and does not move at all
Any ideas ?
thanks

Could it be in two gears at once? Try shifting into neutral and letting the clutch out to see if it moves then. The speed and direction could tell you which gear it is stuck in.

How do you get unstuck ?

Take off the top cover, and survey the devastation therein. If you need parts, the reason many of us avoid Chinese tractors will become clear.

I may have been too hasty in my snarkiness. I googled Jinma parts and came up with a lot of places that say they have them. Its Jinma, non Jimma, by the way. First step in any google search is to spell your item correctly.

If it was stuck in 2 gears, it would not roll

That it will roll in neutral, but bogs the engine in neutral, says something in the transmission is locked.

Is there a PTO, a hydraulic pump, anything else driven off the transmission?

Yes there is a pto and must be a pump cause has FEL posting this for a friend who has tractor

Unless there is a problem with the PTO, and it is locked up, then putting it in gear would lock the engine.

Something else, if there is a hi/lo range, and it is in neutral, the trans could be in 2 gears, locked up, and the tractor would still roll.

If it is in 2 gears, the shifter will feel different, won't go through all the motions.

If something is broken, like a shift rail or fork, it could be staying in one gear, have that one speed, and locked if in any other gear. Or something could have fallen down and is locking the transmission.

You say it bogs when the clutch is engaged, does it kill the engine, or labor and continue to run?
