Thought It Was Too Wet

Been working on my disc, cleaning greasing bearings welded up a few cracks replaced a few zurks. Had attached to the 9N for moving and lifting. When I got through I decided to run it over the gardens even though I figured it was too wet. Actually did well not as wet as I thought, ran the disc over them a couple times then hooked up the 3 point tiller on the 3000. After a couple passes had a good seed bed on both gardens now I need to go to the seed store.
I did practice social distancing, Ms Arlene is in her studio still making face masks, she has completed close to two hundred so far. The medical folks who have received them really appreciate them.

Looking good! Our greenhouse is filling up. Can't wait to get the garden in. We plowed a spot for a lady across town yesterday, wow! Never been plowed before. Huge roots and a truck load of them. It was a bit wet too. She said she will pick up roots this weekend and hopefully it will dry enough to disk Mon before the rain returns.

(quoted from post at 20:27:06 04/03/20) ....and the chickens already sprouted.

That reminds me of a funny story: When my now 20 yr/o was about 4 or 5 we lived at a different place. He had just finished 'helping' me clean out the chicken house for the spring, to the tune of a dozen wheel barrels. I spread it on the garden we had there. (just a 45'X65')
Next I tilled it up with the old Troy horse, while he watched safely from the side the whole time. Upon finishing, I shut down and stood back with him to admire how nicely the ground worked. His first question to me was, "Dad, did we just plant chickens?".
This was the bedding that the chickens molted in, and there were so many feathers that were were sticking up all over!!
