Coulda, shoulda, woulda

You are still operational enough to interact here on YT. Somehow humans just don't get younger. If you were to have taken better care, would you have had as much fun??? Jim

Yup, hardly a day goes by that I am not reminded of the activities of my youth, such as wild motorcycle and snowmobile riding and lifting things that I shouldn't have.

When I wake up i the morning I feel the bumps my knuckles took over the years. Mechanic work and not being as careful as I should have been when flipping baler teeth from behind stripers. I have said the sme thing you are (I am 71) but I know if truth were known I would have pretty much done the same things I did. It just didn't hurt that much back then. There is a tumbstone here that reads something like, rather than going slowly to your grave, better to slide in saying wow, that was a wild rodeo

Congratulations! I have a friend that used to say that, and the last I checked on him, (a year ago) he was still kicking! He's my age, about 69.

Happy Birthday young man, I'll turn 75 later this year, and don't regret very much of what I've done.

If all the Couldas, shouldas and wouldas were peanuts, popcorn and candy everyday would be CHRISTMAS. George

If it didn?t hurt then I guess we all figured it would never hurt.
And now we find out how wrong that theory was.

Happy Birthday. BUT you know, if you keep having those things, you're gonna be old some day. It really ain't so bad tho, sometimes young'uns even open the door for me. LOL

Happy birthday. I felt the same way. My father died at 49, and his father at 59, both from heart problems. Turns out I took after Mom's side. 69 and going strong.
