I saw a farmer planting yesterday.
Did they move the date for crop insurance?

I was told that a grey area/loophole is that some farmers sometimes will plant 90% of the field before the 15th and then come back and finish the last 10% on or after the 15th thereby still falling in the legal zones. May just be rumors who knows.

Usually farmers rotate crops. Last year
was corn.

News said planting season was about 2 weeks ahead of schedule ? maybe they changed the rules accordingly ?

with my company; the only thing you lose by planting early is them covering the replant!

Last time I was in Indiana they were rotating Corn then soy beans. Do they still do that?
