Fingers crossed...It has been interesting to watch the process. So the strap bolts had to be drilled and tapped too huh? Are they a standard bolt?
 
Thank you for the time spent presenting these photos & details. I have learned much. I have an 18-27 Hart Parr with the same problem.
 
Don?t buy a Cummins 53 block and you?ll be fine . This one has run 5 years and that?s 4 years and 11 months than I ever thought it would the seller lied and told me it wasn?t a 53 lesson learned don?t trust anyone! It?s been a pretty good truck it?s earned it?s keep im in this repair under 200$ that?s cheaper than you open the hood on a newer truck
