Does anyone know anything about the Fixd code readers?

I see it advertised and the reviews look good? Anyone have
any input? It?s supposed to hook to your vehicles info hub port
(terminology?) and use your phone as a code reader. It is
supposed to tell you what may be wrong and give you an
estimated repair cost.

Had one once, lost it to my daughter as her car would throw codes from time to time. It is nice and easy to use, never tried the cost to repair feature. I felt it's a good easy code reader.

I have a AUTEL AP200, love it. It does a lot of things besides code reading and clearing. For example live data and sensor trouble shooting. You can get short term fuel trim for example.

I have an "Ultragauge" in each of our cars.

A little tricky to set-up, but well worth it with all of the displayable gauges and programable alarms.

I've got a BAFX reader and the Torque Pro app on my phone. Not sure I'd trust any "as seen on TV" code reader.

I have an <a href="https://www.obdlink.com/mxp/">OBDLink MX+</a> that I'm happy with. You can use it with its free smartphone app, or with one of the third-party tools that support it.
