I have a 1948 Farmall S/A. Where in the south sound area of Washington St. can I get a 6 Volt Group #1 battery for under $100.00? Rebuilt is OK, new is preferred.
I live near Maple Valley.

I think you are about a half mile from my daughter and her family- they live on Maxwell (I noted your location on the YT member location site). As far as your battery, of course Walmart is your first stop- their batteries are as good as any and cheaper than most.

6v batts are made in IOWA they say they are the only place still making 6v batts at least they told my cousin who hauls the empty cases there. New ones start at 49.95 in local stores depending on brand.

I've had good luck with Deka brand 6v batteries. I usually don't worry so much about price-only quality. Many 12v batteries are almost $160 or so nowadays. Mark

I am in Eastern Washington, I have used BiMart batterys for years and have had really good luck with them. I think they may be made by Exide. I don't know if they have any stores on the west side but do in Oregon

I've had good luck with Farm/Fleet 6 volts. The one in My Super C now is 6 or 7 years old, the one prior was 12 I think. Probably around fifty bucks.
