[i:654c4848f0]"If you went 1/16" possible but 1/64" I don't think you could get the parts down that small, the whole model would be less than 3" long. I have seen them made in 1/16"[/i:654c4848f0]

It's been fiddly work, tweezers and creative parts holding, but I think it's coming along okay.

I got a neighbor who collects combines and he had a threshing bee at his farm, with his own combines, he has a Allis pull type, i forget the number now,but that did put the nicest sample in the hopper, it was clean enough to seed. The only problem you have to go backwards from the other pull type's, that were running ! The fields was running about 75 bushels per acre, spring wheat!

Wow what a craftsman! I remember spending a few hours inside the straw walker changing cylinder bars on the real model.

looks great so far. how about you make one inside a coke bottle for an even bigger challenge. Keep it up. Bill

Notice that the grease zerks are located on the shafts so you can get at them with the grease gun! Good job!!

We had a couple when I was a youngster 66 and 60. It was before my time but my grandfather had a 60 during WWII and did a lot of custom work. It had a motor and he pulled it with a 39 JD B. It was a bagger. By the time I came along they had a pto 66 with a bin they pulled with a 50 G. I think grandfather had every screen available for that 60. He told about combining grain I had never heard of.
