Nice! Interesting, do you use that jack on the back of the trailer as support to prevent the trailer moving during unloading/loading or something?

If I where you I'd take it back as fast as you can. Worked on one of those a year or 2 ago and parts where a night mare to find and found there very poorly made

What model?

I thought the Mahindras were a pretty decent machine, but last weekend a friend's 2555 lost it's left front wheel, the bearing failed, ruining the hub cover, the spindle, and the bevel gear that drives it. (YES it was full of oil, made quite a mess when it broke.)

UNBELIEVABLY light construction form a 55 HP tractor.

He doesn't do field work with it, or even farm, it just sees hobby use around the acreage.

Looks good. If it was mine I would want winter to come back so I could run it and enjoy the cab .

Those are good tractors local dealer has sold many and has been selling them for many yrs. So if they were bad tractors, parts and so forth he would not still be selling.

they are made in the same plant as the tractors that rural king sells. rural king is about $ 5000 cheaper they having proubs with front hubs

Looks nice Ron. Now you will be out of the elements when moving snow. What tractor are you replacing or are you adding to the fleet?

There?s been a Mahindra near here for a few years now,I haven?t heard anything bad about them and they look nice. My father in law has a front mount blower on his similar sized Massey and loves it! Enjoy!

The are good tractors we run 2 of them have 6500 with over 2500 Hrs. on it other the usual maintenance no problems. We have a dealer that has been selling them for over 20 years.

Dealer support is very important to me. We don't have a Minhindra dealer. Rural King used to sell them. They had no mechanics.

A friend bought a YTM. Dealer support sucks.

Same with cars, I won't buy a car that I have to travel 90 miles to dealer.

Put a lot of weight on the rear of the tractor it'll keep the front end from having to do most of the pulling while using the loader, plus it'll make the tractor safer.

Can't say how good or bad they are but, used prices are LOW! There is a 6110 close to me with 200+- hrs., cab, loader, 18k$. Sure would be a temptation......

I hope it works out for you, they all gone around here, did not last long. I do like your jack on rear of trailer, I did same thing years back on my other trailers they really worked nice, only bad idea about them is got to remember to PUT THEM BACK UP!!!!!. I use tilt trailers now

I rented a tilt bed to bring a ford explorer AWD home and the deck had some snow on it and the 4 wheel drive had a time getting up it long enough to get the bed to tilt back down. That is the second time in the winter that a tilt bed gave me a lot of trouble. The first time I had to hand winch the car up.I am not sure I would buy one now. I am sure they have their place but MN/WI winters is not one.

Only some models.
TYM makes some mahindras and and all rural kings.

Tractor Data (if you deem it an accurate source) shows who builds which models.

The consensus is tractor data is correct unless it says John
Deere got better fuel economy then everybody is quick to
point out that tractor data and Nebraska tests are all false that
is until another brand has better economy then Nebraska is ok
again

Two cylinders yes, after that, no....

I have 2 Mahindras and pleased with them. Traded a 55004WD for a 8560 Cab couple of years ago.
Good tractors but Mahindra offers a wide range of tractors to fit needs and budget. As with any tractor, weight makes power. Heavy tractors will always pull better.
Put a pressure plate in the 3510 this year. First repair other than maintenance on 3 units since 2003. Hope it remains the same for the next 17 years!! LOL
