Is there a set of truck wheels that will bolt up? I want some wide tires on the front, I have a ford 3500 front axle and loader and backhoe on the back she is heavy, and tires sink down alot in front with no load. but like to keep my three rib and rims for another tractor.

New Holland round baler wheels would be a good lace to start they have an offset that will fit a lot of tractors.I put a set of 12.5 X 15 tires on the front of my Oliver 1365 with them.Very
heavy duty wheels too.

Just about all old 6 lug farm equipment rims will fit. I've swapped tires with all my stuff at one point. Square balers, round balers, rake, haybine all fit the front of my 3000.

What would work good would be the steering wheels in either 16" or 18" from 2 didjet number combines, possibly the newer ones and the 16" wheels from a 30 combine. I had the 16" from a 30 combine on my 4000 and 18" on my 5000

You can buy new 6 hole implement rims that fit. Get them about 8" wide so you can run 3/4 ton pu tires. They make the rims with different offset. Ask your tire dealer about the offset. Otherwise your wide tires will rub the spindles.

by the time you mess with used wheels and finding them, you might as well just buy new wheels for the job. I bought some from Heywheel Manufacturing in Ks. Got 15x8 wheel for 60.00 plus the freight. I also bought a couple other things at the same time. They have weld in wheel centers for wheel if you need them too. I liked dealing with them at the time also.

We?re would I find some, would be the thing. All the farmers I know won?t sell anything, even if it?s junk they will never use. That?s why I was hopeful that a truck wheel would work.

True, i was hoping there was a truck with same pattern. As I have three junk yards within 5 minutes of me, and I was wanting them now kind of thing. As I have stuff to get done with the machine, but the little skinny tires on the front are leaving ditches everywhere. But I?m gonna check into buying new even if I have to wait. Because I need them, as if not I?m going rut up my how property while putting in septic and footers.

Check Craigslist. Or anyone with old farm equipment. Some old trailers have matching wheels too. I know you can find them on Ebay, but you'll pay more than they're worth.
