This is for anyone asking for help.You must remember we are not on site and can only tell you what might be wrong.But in order to try and help you. We need to know every thing you can tell us.

Then we have to read between the lines . Working on tractors is no different the working in a car dealership when people bring in there cars. BUT we usually had the car in question setting there . And a short ROAD test would tell us more or ya got three or four other guys to shove it into a stall and start looking . In the spring and fall when guys were pushing hard at times late at night i would get calls with My Tractor just quite , whats wrong or my combine is doing this and not this . My all time favorts were the Dr. , lawyers and Vet's that play farmed with money . and OLD stuff because that is what grandpa had . I had one Dr. that worked in the E/R that i did work for and he would to unwind after his shift was OVER A 11:30 at night he would go play night time farmer and he would call really late like 2to 4 in the morning with my tractor quiet whats wrong . He was way south of me and it was and hour and ahalf drive down to his farm on a good day. Took a lot of doing to get him to call when i was awake as i started sending him bills for consolation and after hours .

Exactly Billy , it isn't like you can plug in an OBD reader and get a code !

The first thing to do when you have a problem with a piece of equipment is to run in the house, turn on the computer, and log into Yesterday's Tractors to find out what is wrong with it (LOL).

Then there is the shotgun approach. Replace everything in sight whether it is bad or not.

Last resort, diagnosis and testing. Right?

I use to get calls concerning the machines I worked on. After several minutes on the phone and some coaxing, they would finally admit to me what THEY did that precipitated this particular problem. Sometimes thats the most important thing.

Well, a lot of times a person gets into something completely out of their field and doesn't really know how to describe the problem. What I don't like is when someone asks a question and you never hear from them again. The only way to get to the bottom of a problem is to interact with everyone.
