Nope. But I did get my streamlined 2020 census, single sheet, entry number and www site to complete the census. Very basic curiosity, no snoopy questions they have no business asking and all that of times past. Just took a few minutes and that was that.

i signed up ty first started it about 4 or 5 yeas ago thy have around 800.000 in the pool now it to help with with future health care for veteran no big deal but i think it a good idea might help one are brothers in arm later

No citizenship question, but they did want to know your ancestry- I said German and English for mine, Russian, Moldovan and Swedish for wife. Kind of a strange conglomeration, but our kids seem to be OK. lol

(quoted from post at 11:32:16 03/20/20) Did that census form have a citizenship question on it?? I Know if it doesn't I will not be filling it out
Let us know when the census bureau sends a uniformed officer to discuss the matter with you.

Then I guess I'll not be filling out the census then. As a D.A.V. I figure I have the right to refuse to fill it out unless that question is there and I'll tell any body who comes to my home that same thing and also tell them to leave since they will be trespassing.

Nothing here . I did request a duplicate DD-214. I received that a few days ago, after waiting 2 months. Stan

Got my 2020 census form. If the idiots would have sent a return postage paid envelope along with it they would probably have better returns. How many young people today even know what a #10 envelope looks like. They live in a electronic mail world. And where do the people buy just one envelope or one stamp. What happens if there is a hording of Number 10 envelopes like toilet paper.

(quoted from post at 10:07:17 03/20/20) They will not send an officer for that I know I have done it before.

No, they'll just forward the example of your limitless cooperation to the good folks at the IRS. *lol*

No Old you do not have a right not to fill it out
Our constitution only imparts two duties that we are required to do as citizens.
one is jury duty, the other is the ten years census.

The ACS is a different story, I refused that one, they hassled me for almost a year, threatened me with fines and imprisonment. They finally gave up.

But no this census is your duty to complete.

I've never read in the Constitution where it states you have to fill out the census every 10 years.. As for jury duty I have NEVER done that and will never have to either

I got phone call about duty when stationed at Killeen Base where we maintained and parted out old Atomic bombs and also maintained Hydrogen weapons wanting to know if I had any health problems

As a peacetime vet (58-62) I don't get anything from the VA so I don't expect to get anything now either. Four years plus 1 and one half month because of the Berlin wall doesn't qualify me for anything. And they had the nerve to say I was in a critical field when they extended me for up to one year.

if you dont answer with the computer, which is the cheapest way to communicate. then they will send a envelope for round two!

"[b:654c4848f0][i:654c4848f0]I did request a duplicate DD-214[/i:654c4848f0][/b:654c4848f0]"

Used the funeral home as my return address.

Yep, its in there, Old- Article 1 Section 2 and as amended by the 14th amendment. And there's nothing in there that says any of us has any say in what questions are in the census.

Still does not make it so I cannot say no to it as a way to civilly protest the illegal immigration. And as a D.A.V. I served both God and Country

If you don't reply, your state will not receive fair compensation or representation. It will go to other states and they will have more control over the electoral votes. Electoral volts were designed to let the rural states have a say elections so that a few densely populated states did not rule the country and decide all the elections.

The only questions that I might have objected to, were my ethic origins. I wonder why ""who my greatgreatgreatgreatgreat grandparents were""", should make a difference. Its not like they still are looking for a library book that didnt get returned.

I was tempted to include my dogs as occupants, but maybe next time. I got 10 years to think about it.

No million vet letter, yes census letter, completed online in less than 5 minutes.
I am retired but I do pay income tax on my Social security payments, my stock dividends, my hay and small grain crops, income from repairs done to others equipment.
