Just a quirky thought for the tractor with the rod over the tire. Maybe it is as one quirky comedian said " past tense for think is thong" maybe that was a fender that went past tense >>THONG<<
 
This dividing rod is not factory as far as I know; it will be effective in guiding the low hanging vines though, partly because it is an articulated tractor and the dividing rod will not move (apart from its normal rotation :)) relative to the wheel while steering.

That is a great tractor site! Do you see any of those in Europe? i have not heard of any of those brands. I like this one, a Saint Chamond Vineyard crawler.

Hendrik: Thanks for this great web site. I've always been interested in small crawlers but I've never wanted one 'till now! About the "Bauchet": About halfway through the site, there is an section view of the engine. Can you enlighten me on the action of the pistons?
