Broken spindle

Spindle has a clean break below the bearing surface. I think it would be a major rebuild. New one not too spendy, probably go that way. I lifted the front with the loader, stacked those blocks on the good side and drove it to the shed with three wheels. Worked just fine.

Common problem with a farm tractor and a loader. Farm tractor while they do work with loaders the loaders are hard on them. I lost count of how may spindles we have had break on my Ford 841S that has a loader on

There is no loader on this tractor, never has been, bracket is for a post pounder.

A post pounder and cause a lot of up down impact damage which will also cause a broken spindle

Muleman, posted a thread earlier about the spindle break being caused by the tie rod failing and the wheel spinning 90 degrees to the direction of travel. I really wished all folks would see how easy it is the post a link to a previous thread on here, especially in Classic. Says he that works on a computer almost daily. Lol.
