I remember in elementary school that we marched out of our classroom and sat against the wall in hallway.

Sure was glad that NE Texas was not a high priority target; howevever, <a href="https://www.8af.af.mil/Units/">Barksdale AFB</a>, home of the 8th Air Force, was a prime target.

Located in Bossier City/Shreveport, Barksdale was about 85 miles from our farm.
