The more power puller questions

I've been looking at this product for several years its called "the more power puller" manufactured by wyeth-scott company in ohio they have been in business since 1934.

Has anyone ever tried there puller?

There product looks well made and very strong and they offer every part available for replacement.

Thanks any advice or tips

Www.wyeth-scott.com is there website

They are a well built product. Use care when operating them to be sure the pawls set. The construction company I worked for used a lot of those.

Have 2 of them and other than bending the handles (the handle is the overload protection lol) they have done everything I've asked of them. Pulled trucks/tractors/equipment from the mud or snow, got things dragged on the trailer, straightened bent steel, pulled tractors together, etc. Better than any come-along found at a TSC type store.

Haven't seen that brand before, looks well built. My oldest one is an American power-pull, mine is 46 years old, so it's made in US, not so sure about the new ones. Now I have 2 new Maasdams, a cable one and this rope puller, both made in US. The rope puller is only 3/4 ton, but that's enough for pulling trees over, that's what I use it for mostly. If I need more power I use a snatch block and double it, as I have over 100 ft of rope in it.

That is the one that the late T-Bone recommended .I have one .It is a cast iron body and is heavy but once you have it rigged it can pull tremendous weight. Once it is rigged who cares how much it weighs? They also sell cable slings real cheap .

The best cable puller you will ever use. Heavy duty. We used them when I worked for AO smith. Pulled hundreds of unloaders with them. Still have mine, it?s winched a lot of cars onto a trailer.
