getting the fever

Going to see quite a bit of spring anhydrous put on here in central MO by later in the week I'm guessing. I'm not quite ready yet to start any spring tillage. Going to pull some soil samples the next few days to send off for testing.

The well worked fall fields are melting off, if you left trash or didn?t work the fields they are still snow covered.

But, the foot deep water puddles in the bottoms is a good sign that things are moving.

I am ready, the drive to my shop is so soft I almost drug the running boards. The Chevy has to set outside till it drys some.

Planted a few rows of sweet corn this past weekend.
Sure could use some rain. Getting pretty dry.

Doesn't help me any, I was in south west Kansas this morning and the planters are hooked up and sitting ready to roll, just a big tease to me, I'm driving back to Wisconsin and I am sure I will see snow in the fields yet and mud and frost! Oh well the time will come!

If I could, I'd sure send you some rain. That's all we've had this winter. Very little snow (total of less that 5 inches), but Lord, we've had the rain in S.E. Ohio. I guess the rain will quit just when the hay needs it LOL. Keith
