You are correct.
As much as I like the old 2 cylinders, they were not easy to get on or off.
My H is the easiest one that I have ever used.
My old M years ago was the worst.

The serial number tag is on the rear axle. A lot of them got knocked off by people putting chains around the rear axle to drag stuff...

In the first picture it looks like his tongue is hanging out.
 
On that LA keep an eye out in the junk pile for a half moon shaped piece of sheet metal that is missing from the bottom of the grille. Be well worth having if you can find it.
