The bucket is sloppy on my ford 753 backhoe id like to find factory replacements. But being something made in 70s I m guessing my only choice is tear it down and mic out what I need? But with pins wore out I m not sure how well that will work. Anyone know a place to get them? Thanks

Couple things to consider: Are the bushings where the pins pivot worn, also?
May have to re do them, too.
Can you get a pin out to mic it?
A simple pin like that, most any machine shop should be able to make up.
That might be cheaper than buying OEM pins.
If you happen to find a shaft the right size, maybe you can make your own.
I think I recall, those had cross holes drilled to keep them in (I think).

About any machine shop can make pins and bushings, BUT if they are not made from the proper steel that can be heat treated and hardened, which most machine shops can't do. You are wasting your time and money. They will wear out in no time. New Holland should have them but they will be pricey.

The bushings pins go threw are wore slick out like 1/4 of light around pin, I?ve made pins and bushings on a buddies lathe before, witch isn?t a option now as he passed away, but they didn?t last long at all, Even grease before use, but making them your self it was so cheap that it still wasn?t a bad bang for the buck,

Yes, I lucked out, and found some good hard steel for the pins I made.
Does it have replaceable bushings??

Have you looked into hardened "drill bushings", some places stock them with channels for grease, but lube holes through the pins might be easier and cheaper. If Ford does not stock your parts, I would check with at McMaster-Carr, Carr-Lane or Motion Industries for both bushings and custom made pins.
