Ford 3000 backhoe HELP ideals please

I just bought a industrial ford 3000 backhoe yesterday. witch is in good shape for the year. I used it for the first time today, digging a deep to burry a old burn pile. The back whole digs strong just like it should. But I noticed when trying to use the hoe to roll the tractor forward it didn t have the strength to. I thought well not the end of would but sucks. but then After getting stuck. By the creak witch I wouldn t have been stuck if the hoe had the strength to push. And it was at this point I was like I need to figure this out. As that isn t worth a crap as I ve ran a lot of back hoes. I have pushed them out of some nasty stuff using the hoe. But here s were things get interesting. The front wheels had sunk down in the bank only after trying to use front Bucket to try and pull it out. Well I was gonna use the front loader to pick up the front wheels. from the whole to put blocks under the tires. Using wood blocks under the loader I tried to left the front end and it wouldn t left the tractor, well I decided to extend the backhoe boom straight out to pull weight from the front. Hoping with the out riggers you. It would tilt back. That s when I noticed with the back boom straight out all a sudden the front loader, is strong as heck can left it s self with ease. Just like it should, it sounds like fluid is bypassing some how. When you leave hoe straight out the loader works just like it should.. the valve body control for the hoe had been rebuilt by guy before me. I could see if a valve in it was sticking causing bypassing. but I can see how leaving whole straight out would have any effect on that part. Tractor has new pump that driven of engine. I m wondering if the guy I bought it from replaced these parts trying to figure it out. Fluid is full but thinking about trying add fluid threw top vent to get more in it. But I don t believe that s it. And pulls and digs strong and back boom picks rear of tractor up easy and strong. It just push thats weak but sometimes it will push then not. When digging it will ext out to dig no issue just no muscle to push . Any ideals?

I?ll be honest with you I don?t even know if it has one or we?re to look, but it does sound like fluid is bypassing as in I hear fluid rushing somewhere, the plumbing on the hoe and loader is ran off the main pump witch bolts to the front of the tractor, then two hoses run to the controls on the hoe with one feed hose running to the loader controls, the loader control return is built into control and returns threw a steal tube into the tanks. So if there was a relief valve I?m guessing it would be in the controls on the hoe part. But I don?t know what I?d even be looking for what do think the relief valve would look like?

After just looking at it the main feed from pump goes to the spool valve on the hoe then the return hose from spool valve on hoe goes up and feeds the loader spool. So it seems like there would have to be a restriction in the spool valves for hoe, as the return off it is feeding loader, so if it was bypassing there it seems it shouldn?t effect loader as it?s feed is the return from there.

so if i am understanding correctly, the oil runs to hoe first then loader,if thats the case it should be in the hoe valve but the loader should have a releif valve as well.the reason i ask about the valve,is if you can hear it and feel it,it is working and that ain't the problem,it could be the digger cylinder needs some work, because the boom lift cylinder could be working, which lets you lift the tractor, but if the digger cylinder don't work to its full potential, then you can't push/pull tractor.also the relief valve will sound like when the boom reaches full lift.

Figured out today after running it some more, that if I don?t completely boom completely back in toward tractor and leave say two inches of travel left in cylinder. It pushes the the tractor forward like it should, after figuring this out I?ve Been able to do what I need. The issue with lifting front end with loader still is a issue some times. I?m thinking it?s in the loader spool after missing with it.

i have a backhoe that size, and it does the same thing, you have to realize this is not 580b or 310,its a smaller loader tractor with a hoe on it.
