48 inch titan forks

What's your opinion on Titan's 48 inch forks?
I've been playing a game with Titan. I would click on their forks. Now they have lowered the price almost $75. Titan forks look like they are strong enough for lifting pallets 8 ft to put items in my pole barn loft. I like the brush guard too. That will come in handy when I load branches in the dump trailer.

I bought a set for a neighbor a couple years ago when I converted their loader from pin style to quick attach. They work great. We use them for unloading pallets off freight trucks, moving hay, moving stacks of wood, etc.

I haven't bought the forks yet but have bought several pieces of Titan . No problem with their service, quality and price.

How much did Kubota want for them ? I'd of thought they would of cut you some sort of deal on them since you bought a tractor ?

Kubota prices were out of my price range.
I was using the Kubota yesterday with my homemade leveler to fill in ruts in yard. Loader to dump some dirt in ruts, the leveler to spread it out. In the past I would have to use the jubilee and terramite.
Neither have a cab It was in the low 30s, sunny. I have a solar heated cab. Removed my jacket, opened windows. Almost turned the AC on.

Thanks guys, you have talked me into buying them. Friend has one with a hay spear. His works well. I can see the need for brush guard and 48 inch forks.

That is a good price on a set, you will not regret the purchase of this attachment and will guarantee you'll like these better than the home fabricated set you wanted to make. You'll be wondering how you got by without them !

They look better than the 42 inch forks I brought for 800 bucks for my Kubota 8 years ago. My forks run on a round steel rod and will not stay in place as they slide around. Those lock in place and will stay put. Not to mention I've bent the rod twice and have had to replace it. My forks are suppose to be good for 2000 lbs and my 30 hp Kubota only lifts a 1000 lbs but still bent the rod.

They look like nice forks, but why does the rack gear extend beyond the brush guard? That looks like something the could be a problem, but it must not be.

I think the rack gear you are talking about prevents the forks from moving. I don't see how that will hurt anything. If it does, I can always weld a guard to protect it. No biggie.

Mine are not Titan but built the same. When new I had to beat on the forks to get them to move since then I have worked on them so they slide more freely. Warning! if you beat on the forks with a steel hammer they shoot metal bits that will put your eye out. I use a big rawhide hammer to knock'em around where I want them.

You are gonna like'em : )

Now its off to the races to make attachments for'em... I also have an attachment to move trailers but no pix. Hammer in second pix.

Have bought several items from Titan including a set of forks for my loader with the global attachment style.
Haven't had a problem with anything.
