I start out with "I probably already told you this". Sat evening our fire dept. had our annual appreciation dinner. I was called up to receive an award, and after the chief gave it to me he commented that he hoped that I didn't want to say anything or that we would be there for an extra half hour, and then handed me the mic. I announced that "this brings to mind something that happened twenty-five years ago". I am constantly telling about long ago fire department events and the people that I am telling always listen, but Sat. night everyone groaned loudly. So I laughed and told them "just kidding" and then commended our chief to the group, and he got a good round of applause. He gets way too little appreciation for all the negative that he has to take.

I get a chuckle out of it when people say;

"It's on the tip of my tongue"

Then they actually touch their lips or tongue with their fingers like it's going to help.

Well if your already there may as well see . I normally stand there with a dumb look on my face and try to remember what On earth I was even doing to begin with has a lot to do with the medication I take but it?s always been a problem

Usually can remember shortly after entering the room, if it is the bathroom. Some how a little reminder comes along.
