Had that happen on a wheel loader once.....Only came apart about 12" before I got it stopped. Luckily, no hoses died, and we were able to roll it back together. Found out that the Pivot Pin holding the two halves together fell out. Put it back in, replaced one bolt, slid the driveshaft back together, and away it went.....

Neighbor did exactly that. Tile plow on the back and two 4WD in front pulling, Not sure how he turned out with warranty, tractor only had about 100hrs on it.

I welded an 8630 back together once, got pulled in half when it got stuck in the mud and they used a cat to pull it out. Broke both hinge points. Ran for at least a couple years after that.

My old 9400 didn't have enough power to pull that trick. My 8400 with a chip almost had as much power. The guy that farms for me has a REAL tractor, a CAT with a C18 in it.
