Good Job!

Even better, that you didn't share a photo of tying down the load.
It seems like that is a blood sport on this site.

I poured those two piece septic tanks with asphaltic seal back in the day. We had different set ups for both septic and cistern tanks.

JD Seller,

Those might turn out to be swimming pools for grandkids.

That is what we used our grandparent's big round wooden cow tank for.
It was usually my idea to "swim"... Lawdy, Grandma would get mad as a wet hen - needing to then bath us muddy/green-slimed little kids. :)

BUT IT SURE WAS FUN!!!

I had to help tie the load down and didn't take a pic after that.Got the load home and placed them out of the way until this mud we have dries up. When it does we'll hook a 6410 to them and drag them in place after we clean up the mud around the spring. Also have another spring we will develop.

Back in the 1930's there was a lot of cattle grazing in the mountains where we hike, and the ranchers built these tanks. They had to pack in the forms and cement, with pack animals or carry it, no way to get any equipment to the site. they could use the gravel from the stream bed. This one got washed downstream in a flood and didn't break, must have some rebar in it, it's about 16 ft long and 4 ft wide. There is a spring about 1/4 mile upstream, and the remains of a pipe leading down to the tank.
