Can someone tell me where I might order the L&R positive battery cables for an ac210. None at local dealer. Thanks!!!!

agree, get them made to the length u need and cable size. I use 2/0 cables which puts the actual cable at 7/16 " without the coating. more so needed with 6 volt. your cables probably been changes out with the thin automotive cables.

Those 2/ot cables you can score in the junkyard if you want. The older Ford crown vicks and Lincolns with the battery in the trunk. You need to unbolt the rear seat and the passenger seat. Just carefully pull the cable along the floor channel up to the firewall. Very heavy high quality RED 2/awg cable. I just finished making a super heavy duty set of jumper cables with that red one for the positive and a black welder cable as the negative. What a beast of a jumper cable. Remember, both of the cables are very fine strand wire and are nice and flexible to work with. Makes life simple.

If your local AC dealer didn't tell you that he could make you new cables from bulk stock, they are pretty poor dealers. Take your old cables to any other brand dealer, NAPA or truck repair business and have them make new ones. -------------Loren

I don't know about the 210, but AC was apt to use special, one of a kind cables. But then, they weren't the only ones! Run a separate cable from each battery positive terminal to the starter solenoid. Run a separate cable from each battery negative terminal to the starter ground lug, or a nearby ground. Then you can get the cables made up lots of places. Trouble shooting connection/battery issues is easier also. I also switch my batteries over to 31S [threaded stud] and get away from the troublesome posts.

The local case ih dealer use to make the nicest cables you could buy and they would crimp the ends on with the hydraulic hose machine and then heat shrink the plsting coating on . They were nice and lasted forever. But they stopped making them I don?t know why
