You may remember I asked some questions on the old wagon gear I am building a flat rack on. I finally fifished it. If I do this right you should see some pictures.

The rack looks great. That hitch tinngy on the back will not pull or hold any kind of load, not even another empty wagon.------------------------Loren

There is a chain attaching it to the rear axle frame....Should pull an empty wagon with no trouble....

Loren, that is a piece of 1/4x1.1/2x1.1/2 angle. If you look close the pull is transfered to original wagon hitch via. a length of chain. All the angle has to do is hold the second wagon tounge off the ground. The chain is bolted not welded between both hitches so if by chance the angle fails the second wagon is still attatched with the chain. I put similar hitch on both my other wagons and have been pulling them loaded for 30 years even out of soft fields. I never did like crawling under a rack to hook two wagons together.

you will need to run a brace on each side of that back end. it will just get loose and fall off bouncing over rough ground and with bales leaning against it.

In today's world everyone will have an opinion. I don't know where you live or how much weight it is designed to pull, it will pull fine, unsure if what you are pulling starts to push, then might need reinforcements. It does look nice..

Looks good but remember the more wagons is more hay to bale. The other day you responded to one of my responses about auction time and said I would love the 5100 planter, I posted about it on the implement form so can you tell me about them?

Looks more like the hitch we had on the old hay rack to pull the hay loader when I was just little kid. Yes I remember it well. I drove and the old man loaded then pulled the small rope to unhitch the JD hay loader. Then to the barn and set the hay fork and pulled off with the old 35 Ford pick up. The Old Scovy.
