Trip down memory lane

Was looking at some old pics today and came across these. These were more that 20 years ago and this is my youngest son Nick. His mom came out to take this pic because he was raising such a fuss. He was mad because the wrench didn't fit the bolts. Lol

This is him after I gave him a wrench that fit the bolts and he was happy.

He was always the wrencher and had to be there when I was working on stuff. Here is a pick a few years later if him at his first tractor pull. He had done most of the work on that tractor to restore it himself. He spent many days cleaning and fixing before paint on it.

This is the only before pic I have of it.

Sure wish I could go back to those days so I could enjoy them more.

Great pics and story - for sure, memories to treasure.

Also thinking most of us have had
times in the past, that we did not
appreciate/treasure as much as we should've/could've.

A lifetime goes by far too quickly.

Different, but-last year of high school, and after, my first [only!] job, I worked at a farm equipment dealership. They sold both Gleaner and NH combines. The NH combines were my introduction to metrics. Oh, how I hated them! Never had the correct, or enough tools!

You are right, they won't forget. My oldest turns 44 this year and last summer he was talking about the time when he was probably about 4 we put together a calf creep feeder. I put him inside with a wrench to hold the nuts while I ran in the bolts from the outside. The first time he thought that he really helped. Good memories!

And he even looks like he is having fun. That is not the way I remeber it. But as long as he is having fun good
memories are what count.
