We have a soft spot in the road right in front of our house that they never fix-just patch. Last winter the snowplow dug
in....ripped the plow off the truck, broken 5/8ths bolts and part of the hydraulic cylinder were laying around when I came home
from work. Driver had an injured shoulder.

We kept our front plows 2" off the pavement and let the underbody drag. The most damage I ever saw a manhole do was take a chunk out of the 3/4" cutting edge. That looks like he hit a RR track square on.
