Except for the weak crankshaft/rods, and in the block exhaust pipes that limit cooling capacity to barely enough when under
normal power output. Jim
 
The simplest way to do this, and it has been done, is to get a GM 455 smog pump and power it with the fan belt and an NAA
(Jubilee) carburetor so that it's turned around with the throat facing the front and connect with a short tube. Adds just a little
bit of power, is cheap, and acts more like a supercharger than a turbocharger. I've forgotten the exact added boost.
 


The original Funk 6 and V8 conversions weren't for nothing or for cool factor. They were developed and built because there was a market for small tractors for heavy belt work.
 
I think it would be a whole lot simpler to
just get a bigger tractor something like a
mf135 diesel nice but little powerful
tractors for there size
