Oil from the engine finds it's way into the clutch housing thru a hole in the back of the crankshaft. The ring gear takes the oil up and drops it in a trough to get back to the pan. If you put the correct amount (8 quarts) in the engine it will take care of itself.

It uses engine oil from the crankcase. Do whatever your using
in the engine. Plus there is a extra drain plug under clutch
housing that will
Drain about a guart. Fill at engine for both.

Don't forget to drain the clutch housing
every time you change the engine oil.
SC's & CC's have the same configuration.
I'm not sure about L & LA's, they might
have the clutch type as well. If you
don't drain the clutch sump, you will
leave about a quart of dirty oil in
there. jal-SD
