my McCormick W4 been setting in the barn for about 4 years got it running but the clutch plates are stuck to the flywheel. any ideas without taking the bellhousing half cover off. thanks for any help

Might try blocking the clutch petal down for a week or so, or start it in gear, hold the petal down, ride the brakes and drive it around, that's a thing you have to be carful about doing.

I purchased a Ford 3400 that set outside for 7 years with a stuck clutch. Wired pedal down and let tractor run for 3 hours. I was lucky, that broke it loose.

have someone to pull with a long chain then push in the clutch and keep hitting the brakes that has worked for me

I have had that many times on tractors and trucks. Start in low gear. Work up to higher gears by float shifting and drive it.If you can get on the road in highest gear safely and drive it should come loose hold clutch pedal down. It may take 15 minutes you can tap brakes. I think the heat from the engine getting to the flywheel is a part of the solution also. This has never failed to work for me

Only do this when you have a large open area where there is no chance of colliding with any thing or any body -- make sure you have a way of shutting down the tractor with a kill swish or the like.
