Instead of using an exhaust valve from a Kohler, try using an intake valve from a rectangular port 454. It'll stand up during a hurricane.

Take the little valve on the right and shorten it a little and mount a beer stein on it!

IIRC, big valve is for a John Deere "R", little valve is for an "N" series Ford.
