I have a mf 1080 with a perkins a4 318 diesel. The engine is beyond repair! Does anyone know where I could find a engine complete or a long block? And what other perkins engines if any could I bolt up to the bell housing? Thanks

There is a Massey Ferguson forum if you scroll farther down through the forums. Someone there might be able to help.
 
Is a 1085 the same engine? If so, my son has a complete tractor
with a good running engine he?d sell right.
 
I?ll bite and ask the question... where are you located?
I too am in need of an A-318 block or complete engine.

The tractor is located in Wallis Texas, about 50 miles west of Houston. The engine runs great, only thing wrong with tractor is belly pump for 3 point is not working and the seat leaves a little to be desired.

I'm located in Pennsylvania! If he would be interested in pulling the motor and having it shipped to me I'd be interested! If I was closer I'd be interested in the whole tractor but shipping that far would be a little much for the whole machine. If he would consider that my name is mine 724-570-7750

There is a complete tractor for sale for $2300 near St. George, UT on Facebook marketplace. I'd buy it if I had my big trailer here!
