Anyone ever used or owned a Seaman tractor with a mounted tiller,old unit with a 4-71 Detroit motor?

The county roads department where I live used to have something similar. Very heavy duty. I assume it was used for making road repairs.

Yes countys used them for mixing road oil with soil. To make blacktop roads I have run one

owned one for 15 years 4-71 4 valve Detroit painted it flambeau case color added 4 750# weights from case lai&900 wheels branded it" just in case" pulled 18000# on stone boat ran out of blocks what sweet pipe music it made to bad ins company killed our backyard fun sold the old seamans mixer to motocross track used funds for more case tractors . Yep. Rex Mhfrg. bought them out. Books were still available 20 years ago.

Those things were built for road construction. They would shape the road bed then have cement or soil stabilizer spread on the road bed. Take the Seaman and just till it in , after that water and roll with road Don,t think I ever saw one the farm but guess it would work for heavy tilling.
