online auction sites

I have a bunch of automotive parts from an old project to sell off. I was going to use fleabay. A friend used to sell a lot there but hasn't for about ten years. He tells me that they're going to start issuing W-2s or 1099s to sellers in addition to the sales tax they charge and pass along to the seller. And I really don't want to get into paypal either. This will be a one-time deal. So my question is what are some other online auctions you have had experience with? Parts are from IH Scouts so old truck sites preferred. I'd like to keep it simple.

Not if you have any volume of stuff to sell, expect to get anywhere near top dollar, and/or want to sell any time soon.

An ad like "IH Scout Parts PM me for details" won't sell much but if you put up an ad for each part, you stand a much better chance of selling it. That's where ebay shines.

Facebook has a really sketchy search, limits you to within 100 miles.

I'd verify this whole rumor about 1099s from ebay is true, because I haven't heard it, and ebay has not notified me of any such thing happening.

I think you only get 1099ed if you sell over $20,000 or 200 transactions per year. I think that's what I remember reading. It's in there seller terms if you want to read it and be sure.
