Working on super m ta head gasket failure; Sat for over one year . rings are really stuck. Any
advice on how to remove of course nnt damaging pistons?

Large coffee can and some ATF and a stove. Set the can on the stove put the piston in pour in ATF and heat it up and let it stay warm for a few hours.

If it were me I would disconnect the piston and make a round block of wood slightly smaller than the piston and drive it out away from the corrosion. Then hone the cylinder.
