7 thousand dollars

Larry, I could buy 4 really nice 8N's for that and never have to change an implement from one to the other.

I could buy one with a loader. Put a quick attach system with a 3rd circuit for a grapple on it and have at lots of stuff for my wife to do.

$7k will get you a terramite that has been worked hard, but away wet and need a second seat$7k to repair it.

Sitting on a terramite is more fun than watching a game..

Put a battery on a spoon. Hen you could dig a hole to plant seeds in garden.

Sorry Larry, I wouldn?t give 7 cents. Even if it was being played just down the road. Now if it was across the road.... I could probably park cars on my field for $10-20 each. That would be the only way these events could be attractive to me.

And those are for the nose bleed seats. My brother and sister-in-law (season ticket holders from San Jose) went to the game and got tickets on the 30 yard line, lower bowl. They are not admitting what they ended up paying, but I sure it was huge.

I wouldn't spend that kind of money to go to the game but if I were a multimillionaire I might do it or sure would throw some money at some other 'useless' things for sure.No sense in making money if a person can't spend it one something they want to do.

These days it is difficult to get a handle on what the "original" (real) price was, that is the price printed on the ticket (or on your electronic version of a ticket). All of those seats sell out very quickly well ahead of the event. Then they go up for sale on the re-sell sites like Stub Hub, etc. So you buy a ticket for maybe $500 at the start if you're lucky and then a month ahead you list it for sale for $3500 to make a few dollars. Some of the local season ticket holders for the Miami Dolphins (this year for the Hard Rock Stadium Super Bowl) might get first chance at some of the seats at the real ticket price, I have no idea how they are allotted after that.

you are missing the big picture, the economy is so good that people will and can spend that doe on a plastic seat WINNING

I know a guy that goes to things like the Super Bowl,he can well afford it.The game is only part of the whole deal,he loves the parties, gets to meet a lot of different people means something to him.Guess its sort of like me going to a tractor show the tractors are just part of the deal.Know some other fellows that go on hunting trips that cost thousands of dollar$,its all what you want to do.

Three 3020 John Deere diesel power shift and enough left over to buy a John Deere 7700 turbo hydro combine

Proof of what is wrong with society, spend thousands to watch a football game played by people who's million dollar paid job is to play football.

Meanwhile people go hungry.

(quoted from post at 05:03:17 02/03/20) Thats what a seat cost at the superbowl?

What tractor can be bought for 7 thousand dollars?

I gave $6500 for this tractor and a loader 10 years ago, sold the loader for 1500 and run a bushhog averaging 30k a year riding around in the cheap seat LOL!

Well, let's see... Here is my entire collection and what I paid:

1928 John Deere D - $700
1938 Farmall F20 - $240
1941 Case SC - inherited from grandfather
1942 John Deere A - $450
1942 Farmall H - $350
1944 Minnapolis Moline ZTU - $700
1947 Farmall M - $1000
1953 Farmall Super M Stage 2 - $1600

Grand total for my entire collection: $4410

Now, this does not include thousands of dollars worth of repairs... But think of how many YEARS of happiness that will come from this. Instead of a 4-hour football game that you can barely see from the seat you are in.

High school football games are generally just as fun, and most are less than $10 to attend.

Professional and college sports in the USA provide a lot of jobs,in the millions probably directly and indirectly to regular every day working people. The people that make the big money usually it seems turn around and spend it at places like car dealerships, fancy restaurants, houses etc all employ working class folks.Poor people don't hire anyone or make a community financially well of its the rich ones that make it go.My area has a lot of very well off people and some really rich ones its the best economy in this area of the state.Help wanted signs everywhere and a very good wage scale, that is the way to fight hunger.
