The one show of the year where I can kick back and relax. Cause no one is expecting me to stay alert and mute the commercials! ;)
 
Maybe the nnalert have a point about modesty in dress and behavior
I thought Sam Elliots mustache was the star of the commercials
 
My wife watched the halftime show and said she felt like she needed to take a shower afterwards. I didn't watch it (I watched the game, not the halftime show), but she called me over once to show me what it was all about. I wonder if they had a man doing the same poses if it would have the same effect. Obviously, not.
 
My wife and I sat through the halftime, watched it without comment. Pretty sure we both felt about the same about it. Borderline...On the other hand, typical for Super Bowl halftime. Commercials not much better.
 
What in the world was that halftime show all about, what group of people would think that was entertainment, African natives?

Maybe I've been under a rock for the last 40 years but I sure don't get what the heck that display of stupidity was all about.
 
I am one of the few that could care less about it, or football as a whole. My son and I watched Highway To He%% reruns all evening.

Pretty good chance that a bunch of tractor loving old farts wasn't their target audience.

I didn't watch it. I don't watch football. I don't like the new music. I think it all is a waste of time. I don't think anyone involved really gives a damn what anyone outside of the target audience thinks.

Face it, everything is geared to young people, always has been, always will be.
 
I have the same attitude about sports as Old and Clarence have. Don't waste my time with it. Never liked it way back to grade school.

I said football, not sports. I also don't watch basketball or soccer. Occasionally watch baseball, usually the World Series.

Hockey is my game. Go Leafs!

I was out playing with the cows. If there is a weak spot in the fence. This one can find it. She may have a date with the sale barn.

I watched it until after the flyby, Those Marine/Navy pilots killed it. Not easy to do after nautical sunset.
 


who won? who was playing this year? Oh well there will be another one next year, so I didnt miss anything.
 
There is still some programming geared to us older people: hippie radio stations, noon news programs, etc. Unfortunately some of the commercials tend to be for retirement homes, funeral arrangements, expensive drugs and catheters, LOL.
 
I went to my son's house to watch the game. I stopped at a local microbrewry and bought a 1/2 gallon of an IPA that I enjoy from time to time, only for me. Son likes a different micro-beer and he had it there.
Son and his girlfriend had made pizza, wings and a chip dip.
I really was not rooting for either team, just hollered at some of the plays by both.
My beer was gone by the end of the 3rd quarter, so I had time to relieve the strain before the end of the game. End of game and I was out the door and home by 10:30 and in bed by 10:40.
May have to take a longer nap after lunch to make up for the sleep loss. LOL

Clarence ..... you say hockey is your game, that's great. But then you say Go Leafs!! That leaves me scratching my head .... LOL !!! You been waiting over a half century for Lord Stanley's silver chalice, you might have a while to wait yet ... ha !!!
 
Was a bit of an adult half time show, I enjoyed it for what it was, that is their style of music and what one will get from their concert. No surprise. Not really my music but is what it was.

Game was pretty close, just as it was falling apart and looking to be a run away, KC came back. Interesting down to the last couple minutes, that?s rare for a SB.

For all of us that could care less or flamed the game itself as a waste of time and money, remember that some of your satellite, cable, or similar fees you fork out each month are helping all those big dudes pay for their BMW's and live in those big mansions. You might as well watch it, you helped pay for it !!!
 

I am tickled for Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes - both good guys.

As far as the halftime show, I am just happy that I still very much appreciate scantily clad women with great booties!

Oh I know it. I was 10 when they last won in 1967.

They've got a start on a pretty good team right now, hopefully they'll put it together and win the Cup before I shove the clutch.

If I recall right, you're in Canada? I suppose you're one of those lowdown dirty Habs fans eh? (Wink, wink, said in jest.)
 
The cup resides down the street. The Leafs don?t get to touch it though.
