Increasing lift (3-point)

I want to slightly increase the lift (distance) of the 3-point hitch on a MF TO35. Is there an adjustment for this?

The only way to do that would be to extend the arm length but you will be sacrificing weight lift capacity. A better way would be to move the mounts on the problem impliment.

Maybe a scissor lift attachment ?

Purchase a second lift link like the one on the right side. This crank adjustable link will provide the adjustment you desire with no difficulty going back to original lengths. Easy and does not compromise anything. Jim

You want, for example, a tiller to be farther away from the rear wheels? You are not increasing the height above ground, but the distance away from the tractor?

So we are on the same page.....

There is no adjustment for this.

However, a quick hitch, like the $99 occasionally on sale deal at hArbor Frieght, will typically add 4 inches and typically easier to hook up an attachment. This would be the simplest way to do it.

Or, the Pats type of lift arm deal would also add a few inches and be a sort of quick attach as well.

If you raise the top link pin hole on the implement,it will pull the rear of the implement up higher.2 or 3 inches is plenty. It's geomotry thing.Just weld a couple of 'ears' onto the top of the mast on the implement. It's a 'trick' I've used many times to get more height on an implement.

Can you shorten your lift links anymore or are they adjusted all the way ? On my John Deere?s I can change the lift distance by 10 inches either higher or lower

The tractor only has one adjustable link (the one your red leader is pointing to). My suggestion below is to purchase another crank adjusted link. Problem solved. Jim

Tractor currently has one adjustable lift arm (the other is fixed length). It has been suggested we replace the fixed lift arm with another adjustable arm.

This is the implement (image) we want to carry a bit higher (pivoting ripper) (shank currently drags on ground at full lift height).

How is the pressure in your tires?

If the rears are low filling them up can give you quite a bit of lift.

I would try getting another adjustable arm for that tractor . Another thing you could do is redo the hitch so that it would let you lift it higher
