Lol, this has been sitting for years, I cleaned the carb and fired it up, I put a short block in it about 12 years ago, now that it?s running maybe I?ll use it tomorrow for awhile to blow some snow. Nice equipment you have there!

Don't guess I have ever actually seen a snow blower work, other than video and pictures. We just push it out of the way here. Naturally Central Mo. is not Minnesota !!

Curved pipe is in the shed, bar is in the old hog barn.

I have 8x8 barn doors I need to get in for manure, why I have a smaller loader tractor. Bar is 2 inches too high with the sill angle on the door floor.

I had the same problem with mine, I ended up cutting 2? out of each side of the roll bar and welding it back together.

I can get in the barn with it now.

I like the looks of those, just not enough to write out a check.
I didn't even try my Wheel Horse blower today, with all the rain, sleet, wind and snow last night I didn't think I push the blower into the snow drifts hard as a rock, used my Farmall with plow and rear blade.

I got wimpy in my old age. I went from this:

Heat. Power steering. Live PTO. Hydro trans. All the luxuries! Haven't even fired it up yet this year but today might be the day.

PAUL - How can you push/blow any snow without tire chains? I used my Cub Cadet and frt mounted snow blower to clear snow for several years. Haven't mounted it for 25 years, except the year I broke my leg New Years eve. Couldn't work the clutch with my left foot/leg. But I could run the Cubbie sitting side-saddle and use my right foot/leg. But the tire chains were stored with ALL the pieces of the blower. And they were installed before I left the nice warm shop. I absolutely HATED all the blowing snow getting all over the tractor, frt wheel bearings only lasted 4-5 years instead of decades. Do not have that problem near as bad with the BIG tractor and 80 inch blade mounted on the loader.

The tractor is 4wd but the huge difference is the tires. Many many edges. I will get a better picture later.

And of course the weights.

Dr. Says I froze my toes and fingers at one time. No surprise given my history. I have a lot of trouble with them now so the cab really helps, with heat.

I use a Ford 9N with a 68" pull type snowblower. It's very reliable but a little weak for that snowblower so I bought an MF 150. I got to use it for one storm before the IPTO clutch pack gave out so the snowblower is back on the 9N.

I was looking at some old pictures the other day-one is of my brother plowing/blading snow with our '52 8n back in 1978 when we had a lot of snow. He is over in the ditch with snow 3/4 up on the lower side tire and only spun some as he made his turn around. I do not ever remember getting stuck in the snow. We never used chains to move snow, only in muddy conditions, like hauling manure. Mark.
