Im in a good mood now dont know about the rest of day.I was thinking I would get real mad just for something to do..how about you guys?

I will go out to blow snow (about 12 inches) after I eat some breakfast. The snow zilla just passed here on its way to Wisconsin. So with appropriate feather stuffing and Mickey mouse boots, I will be operational. Jim

Not snowed in, just not going out in it. Have about 6" on the ground. A little more may come in the next few hours. Ah, nice and toasty in the house. Waiting for snow plow contractor.
Stayed home this morning, McD won't go broke. Made my own breakfast. I had the coffee brewing when my wife got up.
I texted granddaughter asking how her mom was doing. She had appendectomy Thursday night. GD said she could handle the snowblower (Worx electric) on 20'x20' driveway. I told her to call me if she needed help.
Wife and I played cards for a couple of hours. Checked the Weather Channel. Wife is doing a jigsaw puzzle and here I am.
Life is good!

I am fine as I am eating my breakfast. I will go out and finish installing my new radiator in my JD. I think things will change after I try to find the thread size, on the bottom support nut, on my already installed radiator. Which is now metric. As I am laying on my back, in the cold. Why wasn't there a sticker on the radiator saying all support brackets nuts are metric? Stan

It's not nearly as nasty here in Middle Tennessee as it is in the places you guys were describing, but, for an old man, it's still a bit rough. It's raining. The temperature is right around 40 degrees and there's a stiff wind blowing. The ground is saturated and vehicles are driving through mud. I fed the one horse that I still have and the few cows that are left. The horse has access to the barn and she was inside so that was easy. But the cows are outside. They don't seem to mind the cool, rainy weather but I was soaked after putting out feed and some small square bales of hay in the pasture.

When I came into the house, I stripped off my wet clothes and put them into dryer and my boots on my boot dryer. Now it's hot coffee time.

Not too bad. Just a bit uncomfortable.

Wow, ya'll really got dumped on!

Snow still coming down here. Went out this morning and cleared paths for the animals, but came in because my hands were getting too cold, which was unusual because it's above zero all day (was 5F then). Looks like we've gotten about 4" to 5" so far. Won't know for sure until I plow.

I just finished plowing for now, we got somewhere around 8 inches and really strong winds. Maybe 40-50 mph wind. Sometime last night it must have rained or misted because the snow has a layer of crunchy ice on top which luckily prevented further drifting. In the nice warm shop now with the dogs, so life is good at the moment.

I?m huddled up with 2 house cats, trying to talk myself into going out and blowing some snow. Which is sorta funny, since it?s blowing 25-35 mph on its own. Travel isn?t advised.

5 degrees now, going to get colder.

90% of the time I?m really happy with the utility open station tractors I have. Even a typical winter day not so bad.

Today is the other 10%.......

Good mood? No.

Mad? No, that?s not it either.

Resigned? Not sure that?s a feeling, but if it is, that?s me.

I wasn't mad when I got up but I am now. I got a big shaggy stupid cat named Buster. He's a stray that showed up about eight years ago. He thinks he's some kind of royalty and needs to at least live in the garage so I let him sleep in when it's nasty out. His latest source of irritation and aggravation is coming in from outdoors to crap under my truck.
This morning he sat in the barn door and watched me plow snow for two hours, when I backed the tractor in the shed he ran to the garage door, scratching the door and crying like a baby so I let him in to eat, came out of the house 45 minutes later to the same result. The big dumb azz just spent two hours outside watching me, he needs to manage his time better.

Here in SJ it is 30? but really blowing. Just a few snow flakes and switched over to drizzle. That garage cat, does he have a litter box? The natures miirical litter made from corn cobs is great! Really lasts well too. Nice and clean and smells like corn. Pet Smart. My cats jump right in no problems. Here is a photo of TIP. He sleeps up against me. Purrs himself asleep.

This morning I thought about plowing the 3" of snow we got last night. Then it started raining, no more of that, worked on some chests I'm building for my granddaughters. Now it has frozen back up and snowing again. Tomorrow's another day.
