We made two bushings so I can put double seals in each cylinder. Made the bushings so the seals fits just a little tighter In the bore which will also keep the seal from getting cockeyed in the bore allowing around the seal

About as good as it gets. Put a nice packing of chassis grease between the seals to keep lubricant on the outer one. Jim

I put hydraulic oil on them both hopefully that will keep them lubricated. I cleared some driveways and moved snow so I could get to the straw stack it never leaked one drop of oil so I think we fixed the problem.

a lot of times when 2 seals are used in dirty greasy situations the outer seal is installed opposite as a wiper. just saying.

It has a wiper seal already it sits on top of the snap ring.

Yup so close to the front end he'll have to watch it doesn't drop on the hood at that height.

Yes it does about 20 feet although it?s pretty much worthless at that height for most things

Looks like a good set-up. I put together the same sort of thing for the tachometer drive off the distributor base of a car that I rebuilt.
