My question is will you tell us when the problems talked about come up? That will be the real story. Most wont say if things go bad on them.

All I did to them was added a lift spring assist on each side I left every thing else the same never really had any problems with them

I have ramps like those on my bumper pull trailer. I carry 2 one foot long 6?x 6? s to use cribbing under the center of the rear of the trailer. Drive off of them when loading , then stop and pick them up. Mine flipped up once and that was enough to make me be very cautious. Cribbing is cheap and safer

I loaded three different pieces and the ramps never tried to raise there about two inches off the ground when the trailer is empty then come into contact with the ground when I start up the ramps

That's what I do is put blocks under the back of a trailer with ramps leave a few inches for the trailer to come down on.First thing I do with a new trailer that has
ramps is to torch off the legs they are constantly in the way.

Long ramps like that are nice when you load a car it won?t bottom out I?ve got legs like that on my trailer and never had any trouble with them coming up

I would suspect that your legs angle forward not back. Legs done right won't kick up the ramps. Hopefully he will remain lucky and not have an issue with these either.

only thing wrong now is they stick up to high and should be layed down on the bed and strapped not to bounce. plus you have the bottom support sticking out, not the best idea. quite sure they could have 3 ft cut off those ramps.

Then what do you do when you have a couple tractors on the trailer and they come back past where the ramps lay down? I always did the ramps just like he has them. So what if the ramps rattle a little? Have them leaning back just a little and they won't rattle near as much as straight up plus less likely to hit anything on the trailer when
they are in the up position.

If I might make a suggestion for the pieces that hold the ramps up. weld a little piece of angle that they can lay in when the ramps are down keeping them off the ground. If for some reason you need to back up, they will dig into the ground and bend. Don't ask me how I know this but my skid steer trailer got those pieces welded on. Keith

Looks good.

Next job lights, wiring, reflectors if required where you are using it.

(not my trailer, just a photo I found)
