?.. of bondage,or wedded bliss??????34 years a go today Susan and I said "I do" in Gunnison Colorado. It was 'several' degrees below zero.We learned to snuggle real fast.LOLBeen a great ride with a great woman by my side.

We're in the same boat - only about 35 years of holy deadlock for us.
Has to do with that all important "C-word"...Compromise.
Who in the world wants to do that???? LOL!!!
 
That is great.
When you are fortunate to find the right one like I did, you have to hold onto her.
We will soon be at 46 years.

It'll be 48 for us this year, the wife wanted a free trip to Alaska as I was Military then. She said she could get a divorce and come back home after we got there. I guess she forgot to get it and I learned how to say Yes Dear real fast. She doesn't go to the shop much any more so she isn't involved or know how many toys I have down there so life is good. Happy Anniversary to the two of you and may you have many more with that young lady. Keith
 
I thought the 'C' word was "Christ",as you gotta have him in there with you.Compromise is good too.

Congratulations, we stayed in Gunnison about 35 years ago in the middle of September. Was dam cold in the morning.
 
You should be there now. When we were married that summer the last frost was June 20th. The first Frost of the Fall was August 10th. That makes for a pretty short growing season.

Christ is definitely the MOST important "C" in our marriage. For sure, for sure!
 
Congratulations on 34 years. OH I remember when we looked forward to a long cold spell of warming each other for the duration. Now after 53 years and the weatherman is talking a cold spell and we start thinking of something "hot" we put on a pot of soup.
 
Congrats on 34 years. Connie and I have had three wonderful years together and 52 that were a little shaky. I remember what Dad always said "No woman ever shot a man while he was washing dishes!" Good advice!
