Is membership lower in posters than it used to be?

I can remember in years past, replies to postings reaching several pages. I know the posts asking where people are located can reach multiple pages. I guess I will sit and wait for somebody to post that again. Ha Ha. Of coarse, having several different posters individually posing a new topic on Merry Christmas doesn't help to my question. Just curious. and Yes, Merry Christmas to everyone!

Forums in general are in decline, not just this one. They're "obsolete." They have given way to "modern social media" like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.. We've also lost a lot of members to mortality over the years.

Plus you can only rehash the same conversation so many times before it gets boring.

Merry Christmas though!

A lot more people are employed now than in the past,plus since YTers are a pretty old bunch some have died off.

Don't know about current numbers but my take on the 3 page posts was that the site DOT put their foot down and demanded that we quit arguing!!!!!

Shucks took all the fun out of posting. 😎

ractor forums have had noticeably less traffic for several months....maybe as much as 6 months.

Fewer collectors , tinkerers and hobby sized operator s now than in the past .
Boys raised by single mom s in town have little exposure and interest in hunting, fishing, vehicles , boats , off-road vehicles , tractors , ham radio , hiking, camping etc .
Farmers are either big time operators or Almish/Mennonite. Don t see or hear much of them around this site . Or at antique shows either .

I asked that people post where they're from once and got my arse chewed. Told it was none of my business. Maybe that's why there is less posts.
Oh well...Merry Christmas from Oregon!!! Be safe. Seen many accidents on the news already.

I believe that there is a general decrease in this area.

My wife says this is my way of visiting the coffee shop and talking about tractors.
