Had a few setbacks. Bobcat starter.
Waiting on door. Planning on floor some
time after Christmas. Then have ceiling
sprayed.
Good thing come to those who wait.

This is new home for the Kubota.

Forgot the pic. Not enough coffee.

Brain isn't firing on all cylinders.

That is a fine structure. It will be there for a long time. Well done. Doing some after construction grading, and installation of perimeter drain (to the gravel pit?) will make it reliable. Jim

I hope I don't regret this decision.
BIL had his metal roof sprayed with closed

Cell foam. I think think the foam will address all my concerns about metal.

The guy who is going to spray the ceiling said I'll never remove the metal. I told him that's what I want.

I did all the excavating. When I rains water runs away from barn on all sides.

Forget floor drains. I'll use a fan to dry floor in winter.

Have 2 drains in my garage and water runs away from drains.

New garages don't have drains either.

Next spring I'll finish off landscaping and put down an apron and driveway.

Kubotas came with loader. Making a 900# rear ballast. Planning to remove loader and use 6 ft mower in summer and 7 ft grade in winter.

This is L3560, smallest L series and close to Jubilee hp and weight.
I always wanted an AC mower.

Good looking building. Glad to see eaves on the sides- lack of same was a trouble spot in that type of building.

Eaves - depends where you are. All they do here is give the barn swallows a place to build a nest. Not enough rainfall here to worry about.

I agree with your plan to dispense with floor drains. I put a big floor drain in my shop when I built it. It was a lot of aggravation, I don't have a flat floor and I really haven't used it.

Thanks Loren,
I own the houses on both sides. One house is white siding, brown trim and red brick garage. The other house is red/brown brick, white facia and soffets. Soon the brick house will need new shingles. I'll get shingles to match or go with the siding.

I wanted colors that blended in. I didn't want something like a bright red that calls attention.
Besides the guy who built the pole barn has same color scheme on his pole bard and I like it.

I wanted skylights under the vented eves, wainscoting, one 12 wide and 10 ft tall garage door and 14 ft walls to have a catwalk for storage. Yet I'll still be able to drive under it.

I hope the Kubota works out. I think I have a good dealer in the middle of Terre Haute. I drive past it 2x a day. The dealer is Case IH and Kubota. Has been in business since 1967. That has to say something.

Cheapest is $1/sq ft for one inch. $1.50 for 1.5 inches.

I may want to look around at the colors. One insulator has a blue/green foam that sets up like rock. Almost like a sprayed in bed liner.

Floor drains are fine if done right,I told the contractor if water did not run to the drain he had to repour it till it did.(house garage)It drains fine. The hanger(neighbor named the shop building)I did not put drains in it because every time I get on a creeper the drain is in the way. A good squeegee and a fan work great in the shop.

Eaves, I want them on both sides and ends. Minimum of a foot on ends, Prefer a foot and a half on side if any door in there.
