After the silo left this summer there was a wide open wall at
the back of the barn. Hurricane Dorian took some clear sheets
off the roof and years of silage in areas that didn?t get cleaned
like it should had some rotten spots. Instead of fixing it up and
closing in the wall it was way easier to take it down. There?s a
set of doors that led into the silo room big enough you can
back a small tractor in,I remember as a toddler Dad used to
keep an old Farmall in that area before the silos came. It
shouldn?t take too long tomorrow to finish up the job,I ran out
of daylight and it was cold in the wind today.
